Welcome to LyfMate Strix ("the Application"), developed by Chaitanya Eshwar Prasad. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains our practices regarding user privacy and data collection.
1. 100% Offline-First Architecture
LyfMate Strix is built with a strict offline-first philosophy:
- All schedules, routines, habits, tasks, memories, and preferences are stored exclusively on your device within a local, secure SQLite database.
- We do NOT operate external database servers, tracking services, or cloud synchronization systems for your personal schedules.
- Your data never leaves your physical phone.
2. Data Collection and Transmission
We do not collect, transmit, store, sell, or share any personally identifiable information (PII) or user data with any third parties or remote servers.
3. Permissions Used by the Application
The application requests specific Android device permissions strictly to operate offline features:
- Notifications & Exact Alarms (USE_EXACT_ALARM, POST_NOTIFICATIONS): Required to alert you accurately at scheduled routine times and sound chime reminders.
- Bluetooth (BLUETOOTH_SCAN, BLUETOOTH_CONNECT): Used optionally to pair and synchronize routine notifications with your companion BLE watch accessory directly. No Bluetooth data is transmitted over the internet.
- Audio & Speech: Used to interpret natural language commands locally through the Android system's speech recognition framework. Voice audio is processed in real time and is never recorded, saved, or uploaded to any server.
- Camera & Photos: Used optionally to capture a photo or choose an avatar for your profile. Your photos are saved strictly on your local device storage and are never uploaded, analyzed, or shared.
4. Third-Party Services
LyfMate Strix does not integrate third-party advertising networks, analytics tracking suites, or behavioral tracking SDKs.
5. Children's Privacy
The Application does not knowingly collect any personal information from children under 13, nor does it contain inappropriate material.
6. Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update our Privacy Policy periodically. Any updates will be reflected with a revised "Last Updated" date on this page.
